the super adorable cuttlebug!!

in the last few days, i’ve been in and out of arts and crafts stores more than all the other times combined! i got myself a super cute cuttlebug from joann’s along with some emboss folders that are so cute! i then waste no time in getting more things for my bug. i bought 4 sets of fonts from ebay for way less than retail so i can justify the spending. ^^ this little machine is so easy to use and the details are just lovely! plus, i’m partial to green and this “bug” comes in a very cute pastel green. i need some dies too…

i spent a small fortune at joann’s (obviously) because most of their scrapbook supplies are 40% off! i’m ready to get creative…lol

thanks vera for the link. i found two autograph book designs that i’m going to scraplift. in fact, i’m almost done with one. i do need to stop at joann’s (again!) to get a crap-a-dile because my poor hole puncher cannot punch holes in the chipboard pages. you should see the palms of my hands, they are red and sore after trying to punch holes in three of the pages. i give up.

on a random thought, i feel like i need a new layout.

almost time for us to go to disneyland. i’ve been reading and absorbing everything about it so we can be better prepare once we get there. i’m going to make a list of what shows/parades we want to see, rides we want to go on, and a rough schedule of how we’ll go about it.

i’m also looking for princesses outfits for the girls so they can wear it to the parks. i’m going to to attempt to create autograph books for them instead of buying it too. it’ll just be more personal and i’ll have them help me decorate it later. i read quiet a lot of ideas on how to make the books and i’m excited. i’ll most likely go with 1 page for their autographs and another for photo so two pages are reserved for one character. if that make sense.

hey ms. scrapbook vera, if you have tips, i’ll love to hear them on the autograph books. ^^

still debating on the character dining since nothing on their menus sound good to me. *sigh*

we still got time but i already feel like i’m running out of time.

so i can’t wait until we go to disneyland in august. that should be fun too and time to be a kid again.

i’ve never fly anywhere so the flight to vegas was my first time and i got dizzy at first but i’m adaptable so i squeeze my eyes shut and held on until we were stable….hahahaha

anyway, i’m starting to like southwest alot, even if we’ve only fly once (technically twice) with them. we both signed up for their visa card and are working our way to free flights. that will make james love our vacation times more, you know? without spending a fortune.

the southwest visa cards are the only ones we both use now and i paid the balance off every month. that way we pay no interest and earn points toward our vacation next year. we use them to pay for gas, utilities, insurance, food, anything we can. it’s only our mortgage that we don’t use the card because they want to charge us about $20-$30 to use the card and that defeats our whole purpose.

i am glad to say that i’ve already earn my free roundtrip reward to anywhere southwest flies and james is 2 points away from his.

it’s too bad that southwest doesn’t have any contract with another airline to fly to hawaii. that is where we’ll love to go next year. anyway, if we can’t go there, we’ll be going to florida and we are taking the girls. i’ll miss them too much if we don’t take them along. i read somewhere that southwest is negotiating for a contract flight to hawaii and hopefully by mid-2009. hawaii may be possible. we’ll see.
