[ cafechi ] slightly organic

so i think it’s about time we wean jaelynn off from drinking milk from her bottle. i was expecting a long and painful fight but she was actually very very good.

on saturday night, we went shopping and i brought along a sippy cup with milk and a bottle with water. she took a couple of sips from the cup but eventually picked the bottle when she realized she wasn’t getting milk in there. i think she’s more attached to the bottle than actually drinking milk.

she’s better with the bottle now too. she doesn’t suck on it as much and eats way more! i mean way more! she’ll eat with anyone even if she’s already been fed. she just keeps going like the energizer bunny.

we know that she’ll probably drop a few pounds since milk isn’t as big a part of her intake anymore and we’re okay. the most important thing in our minds now is to prevent her tiny teeth from cavities and the such.
