welcome to my personal blog, cafechi. the name came from one of my favorite domain names at one point, cafemaru.
this domain is my online life (in addition to 10 other lives i’m living), a place for me to post my thoughts and my never ending quest for natural cosmetics and skincare products (since no one else will listen to me). i also love to watch chinese and korean movies and dramas - see my reviews to the right.
i blog using wordpress (what else?).

plugins that i use for my wordpress:
- flexible upload - lets you create thumbnails of your images and send the images to your post with just a click of your mouse. super easy and comes with optional watermark.
- lightbox 2 - a great plugin to have your images open right on top of your site.
- wp grins - try leaving a comment, see all those smilies ready for you to use? that’s the work of this plugin. cool huh?
history
if you’re really curious, the domain was registered on july 18, 2004 at godaddy and is sharing the space and bandwidth with all my other sites at knownhost.com, which is super fast with support and fits my budget wonderfully well. i’ll also be saving $102 a year compare to my other host.
if you’re still reading this, the domain started as a collective site (whatever that means) and gradually evolved into my personal blogging site for lack of ideas. i’m now stuck with the domain for years to come since i cannot just let go of my petty almost 4 years of online life.
